The game of Texas Hold em Poker might seem complex to you, but once you understand it, you will see that this game is very entertaining. The aim of Texas Hold em Poker game is to finish with the best hand and win the pot.
How to play Texas Hold em Poker:
The two Texas Hold em Poker players to the immediate left of the dealer start the game by posting the blind bets. Once the bets are placed, two pocket cards are dealt face down to each player. The first round of betting begins. Here all Texas Hold em Poker players have three options - to Fold, Bet or Raise. Only one bet and three raises per player are allowed during the first betting round. Remember that you are not allowed to Check in this round of betting. When the first round of betting is over, three community cards are dealt face-up in the middle of the table. All Texas Hold em Poker players can use these three cards to form their hands.
Second round of betting occurs. Here the options are to Check, Fold, Bet or Raise. The fourth community card is dealt face-up in the middle of the table. After that follows the third round of betting. The options are as in the second round of betting - to Check, Fold, Bet or Raise. If at this point there are still at least two Texas Hold em Poker players, the fifth and final community card is dealt face-up. The final round of betting ensues.
In the Showdown all remaining Texas Hold em Poker players create the best five-card hand possible. All the players can use their two pocket cards and all community cards and the player with the best hand is the winner. In case when two of the players have the same winning hand the pot is split equally between them.
